My latest project

This is the project I am working on at the moment.....I have progressed quite a lot since taking this pic....so will post the finished item soon...........
if you've not guessed what I am knitting....it is going to be a bag......
The open panels are worked in a waffle stitch and the central pattern is a vine leaf pattern.

I've not done much knotting lately....being Christmas and all that!!  
But I have done a nice sweater for myself.....with the wool I bought at the craft fair I went to backalong.
A lovely soft wool, and I'm dyeing to wear it but won't be able to until next winter, as I am planning to exhibit this sweater in a small village show in July.
